BROOKLYN (April 7, 2017) – The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership (DBP) today announced the lineup for its 2017 events series, “Downtown Brooklyn Presents,” which brings residents and local workers out into the public plazas of one of the nation’s fastest growing downtowns. The calendar of events includes free outdoor movie screenings, concerts, festivals, fitness classes, dance parties, and ping pong tournaments. BROOKLYN (March 30, 2017) – Re-Nuble, a Brooklyn startup focused on developing more eco-friendly farming solutions for hydroponic growers, won Downtown Brooklyn Partnership’s sixth Make it in Brooklyn pitch contest last night, beating four other entrepreneurs in a thrilling competition.
The event – which took place at Mason Jar in brand new Gotham Market at the Ashland – brought together five promising NYC startups in the food industry, each given six minutes to pitch a panel of five judges on their company’s strategy. Read more.
