Eat, Drink & Be Literary: Valeria Luiselli
The work of Mexico City-born, South Africa-raised writer Valeria Luiselli has been translated into many languages. She is the author of Faces in the Crowd, which earned the Los Angeles TimesArt Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction and the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 prize; The Story of My Teeth, which won the Los Angeles Times Prize for Best Fiction; and the essay Tell How It Ends, among others. Her forthcoming novel, Lost Children Archives, is due out in 2019.
Event includes a festive seasonal dinner by Great Performances, with live music accompaniment. The evening’s featured author then reads from their work and discusses their creative process, followed by a Q&A and book signing.
