Make It in Brooklyn Future of Transportation Pitch Contest
Five finalists will pitch to a panel of judges. One winner will take home $5,000.
The Make It In Brooklyn: Future of Transportation pitch contest showcases a top selection of Brooklyn startups working to make the city an easier, cleaner, more efficient place to get from Point A to Point B. The last decade has seen a massive change in landscape of transportation in cities. What does the next decade bring? Come and have a bite and a drink and meet other transit-focus people to hear what might be in store for the future of transportation.
We’re excited to announce the following transportation startups have been selected to compete in our June 20th Future of Transportation pitch contest:
Spot.On, founded by Aparna Srinivasan, is a pet-centric ride-hailing app that matches passengers and their pets to pet-friendly drivers and vehicles.
CLIP, founded by Somnath Ray and Clement Alcala, is a portable e-motor device designed to instantly transform bicycles into e-bikes.
Graceful Travels, founded by Keturah Suggs, is a van-pooling service for older adults with a line of pre-planned routes tailored for the users.
White Fox Scooters, founded by Sidd Saxena, is a docked electric scooter solution for walkable cities and micro-communities .
Cargofy, founded by Stakh Vozniak, is an app that automatically searches for loads for independent truck drivers.

Our emcee for the night is Mike Murphy, tech editor for Quartz.
Tickets are $5 and good for drinks, food, and time to network with founders, investors, and members of Brooklyn’s tech community at one of Brooklyn’s most exciting new developments, The Hall. Lyft is offering discounted ride codes for the event with the code: DBP2019.
The winner will receive a $5,000 prize courtesy of our keynote sponsors. Additionally, the winner will receive a free consultation with sponsor EA Creative Consulting to review business plan and strategy, free legal advice from the Business Law Incubator & Policy clinic at Brooklyn Law School, as well as two free tickets to the Formula E NYC E-Prix race in July.
