Innovative dance troupe Nimbus presents the world premiere of Samuel Pott’s Esther. This edgy interpretation of the complex Old Testament heroine—whose rise to power encompasses themes of feminism, tribalism, and seduction—is performed with live music by Brooklyn indie-rock group Sky-Pony.
The company also presents world premieres by Darshan Singh Bhuller, former artistic director of UK’s Phoenix Dance Theatre, and Vernard Gilmore, a performer with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
