Paid Social Media Targeting 101
Organic social media reach is declining across all networks, and with all the noise it’s harder than ever to get your organization’s message out. Now is the perfect time to embrace targeted, paid media and start putting your content in front of the right audiences on the right channels. Participants of this hands-on workshop will have the opportunity to put together a basic targeted marketing campaign on Facebook/ Instagram/ Twitter. Please be sure to bring a fully charged laptop AND to have an active account on each of these three social media platforms — Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
About Ryan Davis
Ryan Davis is a veteran digital strategist and communications consultant who got his start organizing online during Howard Dean’s 2004 Presidential Campaign. Since then, Ryan has worked with over fifty nonprofits, campaigns, and start-ups on every aspect of digital strategy. As Co-Founder of Bushwick Digital, he’s partnered with Alicia Keys on federal criminal justice reform and multiple state education reform campaigns. Prior, Davis served as Social Media Director at Blue State Digital where he worked with organizations that ranged from the NAACP to Microsoft.
