Looking for a great spot for oysters and unique cocktails? Head over to Grand Army, a collaboration of four partners: Damon Boelte, bartender; Julian Brizzi of Rucola; Noah Bernamoff of Black Seed Bagels and Mile End Deli; and food photographer Daniel Krieger.
Grand Army is an oyster bar with a focus on a seasonal cocktail menu and highly curated beer and wine list. The raw bar features oysters of both west and east coast variety, and Chef Jon Bignelli is also creating composed dishes such as smoked octopus and hamachi.
The interior was created by James Beard-award nominated American Construction League and features artwork by one of the investors Paul Bright who has a local art gallery and furniture store named Bright Lyons on Atlantic Ave.
