With the weather warming up (soon!) and the extra daylight lifting our spirits, it’s only a matter of time before everyone’s clamoring for a seat outside! There’s nothing better than al fresco dining, and we’re lucky to have a some solid options for fun and food in the sun.
Circa Brewing Co.

Beer and pizza … outdoors! Get over to Lawrence Street, where Downtown Brooklyn’s favorite brewery sets up outdoor seating in the warmer months. Perfect for midday lunch, after-work drinks, or Sunday brunch, Circa is perfect any day of the week, and even better in the fresh downtown air. Special mention goes to the Circa beer garden, which will be a feature of Willoughby Walks, Wednesdays 5/15, 5/22, and 5/29, from 12-8PM.

Grab a drink and go high above DTBK! Break taking views, cocktails, and nibbles abound at Kimoto Rooftop, situated above the Aloft and Sheraton hotels. You’ll want to get cozy and stay for the sunset, and maybe even dinner!

Made-to-order sushi, made to eat outside! Take your spicy tuna outside to a collection of bistro tables and chairs right on shady Lawrence Street. Featuring a bevy of freshly prepared bowls and rolls, get all your vitamins and omega-3s with a side of vitamin D.

Whether enjoying coffee or a meal, take a seat at one of our bistro tables or on the grand steps of Borough Hall for a spot in the middle of it all. Indulge in some people-watching, relax to the sound of the fountain, or peruse the produce at the farmer’s market just steps away.

Grabbing goodies from Cava, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Panera Bread, the Juice Shop, or Shake Shack? Bring it outside and enjoy it at Willoughby Plaza. Get some sun or cool down in the shade under our snazzy blue umbrellas.

Serene MetroTech Commons offers a variety of seating options, whether on the lawn or outside one of the many eateries lining the square. Get some air or even a nap in one of the coveted Adirondack chairs!
