On Friday, June 14, world renowned deejays Benny Soto and Danny Krivit bring their party, 718 Sessions, to The Plaza at 300 Ashland with a special Pride theme. Dance with local Brooklynites from 5:00 to 8:00 PM — don’t forget to bring your Pride flag! More info!

Join Brooklyn Public Library’s new Gay Straight Alliance Club at the Brooklyn Heights Library on Tuesday, June 11! Meet in person in the Cranberry Room from 4:00 to 5:00 PM to share thoughts and express yourself via crafts, writing, and just hanging out together in a supportive space. RSVP!

Try Sound + Fury Brewing Co.’s new “Supergay” cocktail + attend their drag pageant

To help celebrate Pride month, our friends at Sound + Fury Brewing Co. have crafted a special cocktail made with Supergay Craft Vodka, rhubarb, St. Germain, strawberry, passion fruit, soda and lemon. $1 of each cocktail goes directly to the Brooklyn Community Pride Center! Also, on the night of June 20, NYC Brewers Guild and drag queen Nancy Nogood will come to Sound + Fury to host The Category is Beer, a drag pageant and fundraiser to benefit PFLAG NYC.

Explore LGBTQ+ arts at Queer Trash

On the night of Saturday, June 15, Issue Project Room will host Queer Trash: The Symposium with experimental artists 2nd, David Grollman, M. Lamar, and Qiujiang Levi Lu. The artists will debate questions of queerness, aesthetics, and community/communities within the arts through a performance format developed by the participating artists and Queer Trash founders Michael Foster & Richard Kamerman.
