THE FUTURE BEEN FEMALE: Opening Reception with DJ Kay Kay 47 & Special Guests

Join DBP, BRIC, and April Walker to toast the opening of THE FUTURE BEEN FEMALE, a multimedia celebration of women in Hip Hop. Conceived by fashion icon April Walker, this public art installation will project historic images, lyrics and quotes by women artists, leaders and innovators. April Walker will share her vision for the piece, followed by a THE FUTURE BEEN FEMALE inspired set and dance party by DJ Kay Kay 47. Projections will run until 11:30pm. 

Ongoing: A 12-song playlist curated by Walker accessible here and via QR codes on the tables in Albee Square.
