Vinyl Nights Dance Parties Series: DJ Woof + Dirtyfinger

Get down to the sounds with Vinyl Nights – celebrating, NYC dance, music, club and DJ culture. The party spun off from the legendary Mobile Mondays! all 45’s night. Experience what it was like to party in NYC in the early 70’s, 80’s & 90’s when DJ’s played strictly vinyl. Dance to the hits that shaped NYC club culture. Listen to Disco, Funk & Soul, House, Boogie, Latin, and 80’s & 90’s hip-hop. It’s a vibrant, joyful, inclusive dance party and a celebration of everything New York.

Dirtyfinger has been a working DJ in New York City since the early 2000’s. Originally being called on for warehouse, loft and block parties in Brooklyn, the anything goes energy of these nights has never left him. Obsessed with the odd sounds and songs that bridge the gaps between genres, Dirtyfinger’s sets intend to unify diverse dance floors. His musical mantra echoes that of New York City itself – simply “KEEP IT MOVIN.” Catch Dirtyfinger weekly at his namesake party Dirty Thursday at House Of Yes. You can also find him DJing events every weekend around NYC, monthly on his radio show Freak For All on London’s Soho Radio, or touring overseas as DJ for Zebra Katz’ live shows.
