Director of Network

If you are passionate about supporting and growing the Brooklyn Tech Triangle’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a focus on
making DBP the connective tissue between tech/creative start-ups, our established business anchors, and leveraging
Brooklyn’s academic institutions into a true talent pipeline – we want to hear from you. The Director will cultivate important
local relationships and partnerships by spearheading DBP’s successful Make It In Brooklyn program with the aim of taking
DBP’s support of area entrepreneurs to a new level. Our ideal candidate is a leader with exceptional oral and written
communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, knows how to plan great events, and genuinely loves start-ups, venture
capital, institutional partnerships, and supporting entrepreneurs. You should be a ‘people person’ with the ability to manage
numerous relationships with stakeholders from a variety of industries.

Human Resources Manager + Office Generalist

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Finance + Operations, and working closely with staff across DBP’s various departments (Finance, Administration, Operations, Public Safety, Real Estate, and Marketing), the Human Resources Manager + Office Generalist manages the organization’s human resources and assist with the day-to-day management and administration of DBP and the three BIDs. In this capacity, the Manager will enjoy high-level exposure to the inner workings of all aspects of corporate/non-profit management, including planning and managing a collective budget of $10 million, overseeing human resources for 40+ member staff, working with New York City agencies, and designing systems and strategies that anticipate and respond effectively to organizational needs.
