As part of its Make It in Brooklyn Meetup Series, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership welcomed local entrepreneurs to Gage & Tollner, a legendary restaurant in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, for an evening of networking and fun. The event took place in G&T’s combined second floor events spaces of the Edna Lewis Room and Dolphin Bar.
A wide range of Downtown Brooklyn businesses were represented at the event, including Fulton Mall newcomers, Happy Munkey and Raising Cane’s, the latest experiential retailer, Golfzon Social Brooklyn, which boasts cutting edge golf simulators and the largest sports bar in Brooklyn, and longtime DTBK favorite, Livingston Manor. While enjoying G&T’s signature cocktails and canapes, a rousing good time was had by all, and many new connections forged.
Gage & Tollner owners, Sohui Kim and St. John Frizell, and DBP President Regina Myer, welcomed attendees to the beautiful and historic spaces and discussed the importance of neighborhood stakeholders coming together on a regular basis to help create a vibrant and supportive business community in Downtown Brooklyn. By bringing together local entrepreneurs under the Make It in Brooklyn banner, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership is fostering an environment where businesses can thrive and grow together.
