Storefront Recognition: Where Design Meets Expression
The Storefront Recognition award celebrates the visual storytellers of Downtown Brooklyn—businesses that transform their storefronts into canvases of creativity and engagement. Retail storefronts are more than just commercial spaces; they enliven the public realm with visual narratives that reflect Brooklyn’s unique character.
This year’s winner, House of Kellogg, exemplifies this category perfectly. Their storefront, curated by Jennifer Kellogg, is a kaleidoscope of creativity where kitschy trinkets, eyebrow-raising t-shirts, and eclectic vintage pieces coexist in playful harmony. More than a store, House of Kellogg is a celebration of individuality, humor, and unexpected artistic expression.
Contenders in this category also included Happy Munkey, JD Sports, Little Pizza Parlor, and DIG, each bringing their unique aesthetic to Downtown Brooklyn’s streetscape.
