Thanks to our 2025 interns for their hard work and dedication to DBP! Here are all of this year’s interns and a little bit of what they’ve accomplished.

Alima Temirbek, a graduate student in Urban Placemaking and Management at Pratt Institute, has been supporting the DBP’s Public Space + Operations team across multiple projects. Alima has created operational maps, contributed to the Fulton Mall Streetscape Revitalization Project, as well as to the design and planning of the Holiday Lights Program and the SBS Commercial Lighting Installation on Fulton St. project.

Charles-Edesiri Strafforda Music student majoring in Sonic Arts at CUNY City College, has been a part of the DBP Events and Marketing team over the summer. In addition to facilitating events and informing attendees/businesses about DBP, he has assisted with live-sound setup and produced digital photo and video content, including reels that highlight upcoming events. With that digital media he has been able to translate the energy of events into short form promotional video to spread awareness and bolster interest for DBP’s future events.
