As part of its Make It in Brooklyn Business Meetup series, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership recently hosted local entrepreneurs at Golfzon Social. It was an evening of networking and fun! Attendees tested their golf skills on state-of-the-art golf simulators, enjoyed great food and drinks, and connected with the vibrant DTBK business community.
Despite the frigid temperatures outside, the turnout was great. Reps from favorites like Brooklyn Paramount, Chelsea Piers, Raising Cane’s, and Happy Munkey were in attendance, along with members of our hospitality and real estate sectors. This mix of industries reflects the diversity and creativity of businesses in Downtown Brooklyn. Representatives from NYC Small Business Services and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce also joined us.
As drinks and hors d’oeuvres circulated, guests enjoyed golf course play, tournaments, and arcade games, all in Golfzon Social’s lively, interactive environment. DBP President Regina Myer and Golfzon Social General Manager Lynden Scott and Director of Sales and Marketing JP Geoghegan shared insights into the venue and highlighted the growing business, hospitality, and entertainment scene in Downtown Brooklyn.
Golfzon Social is where indoor golf meets social engagement. With 240 meticulously recreated courses, real-time data, and additional arcade experiences like darts, it’s more than just a sports bar (albeit the largest sports bar in Brooklyn!). Guests can unwind with handcrafted cuisine, enjoy vibrant surroundings, and challenge friends to a round, making every visit an unforgettable experience.
“We are incredibly thankful for our partnership with the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and are thrilled to be a part of the vibrant Brooklyn community,” said JP. “We look forward to meeting more of our neighbors and building lasting connections throughout the year!”
